About the Workshop
The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) went into effect on January 1, 2015, and draft regulations on the development of Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs) are tentatively scheduled to be released in January 2016. GSPs will be due by January 31, 2020 for critically overdrafted basins, and two years later for the other high- and medium-priority basins.
