Paige previously worked on evaluating the health of Sierra Nevada Mountain and San Joaquin Valley waterbodies through monitoring for fecal indicator bacteria and pesticides. Currently, she works for the Goleta Water District helping to create models to ensure that groundwater is extracted sustainably and that high-quality water will be delivered to all consumers.
Paige hopes to fully take advantage of her University of California education and to return to the Water Resources Board after graduation with a deeper understanding of the state’s water policy and infrastructure.
Paige graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami in 2015. From fall 2015 to fall 2017 she worked as a Scientific Aid at the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board in Sacramento. She moved to Southern California to begin pursuing her Masters in Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Currently, Paige works as an intern at the Goleta Water District.
